Design of integrated a-Si gate driver for TFT-LCD panel

Abstract

A new stable amorphous silicon (a-Si) TFT gate driver circuit is designed and its effectiveness is verified by H-SPICE simulation. The proposed driving scheme has 50% duty ratio which can extend the lifetime of the pull-down TFTs. The measured results show that the proposed circuit has high stability and is suitable for TFT-LCD application.
