Abstract
This paper focuses on the topic of professional conference organizer (PCO) selection and analyses the weights of factors determining PCO selection by applying the fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (AHP) approach. The fuzzy AHP approach, integrating fuzzy numbers and AHP, is used to construct an evaluation structure with criteria and associated weights for PCO selection. A case study with a three-level evaluation structure is constructed and tested. The fuzzy AHP framework is useful for convention hosts in improving their decision making with regard to PCO selection.
