Developing a mobile information system of the Yacht based on the wireless local area network

Abstract

For cruise yacht, the complicated elements of a yacht and abundant equipment illustrate documents that were saved as papers in the past. However, the way of saving is not convenient for users to find information and take advantage of it. The aim of this study is to build up a mobile information system of the cruise yacht, which can provide users to obtain the yacht data rapidly when they on the yacht. Through analyzing the space faculty and the useful information, we can understand the individual space requirement to organize the information which every kind of users should get. In addition, we view the inner data by virtual real conditions and combine functions that include equipment management, repair information, manual of the yacht employer and tour guidelines. There are three aspects we should think over to work with the mobile information system, which is providing users an appropriate wireless environment, the cooperation between the interior decoration and the wire, and the cooperation between the signal and the interior decoration. Therefore, users in the wireless environment could obtain the individual equipment relatives to cruise yacht and the information about usage and repair easily through the exclusive mobile information system of cruise yacht. When the cruise yacht approaches the coast, the system would contact the shipyard at the right moment and then we can acquire speedy logistic support. It enables the information service more convenient and full of human nature to accelerate users' information records and search that can more accurate and efficient.
