Development of an air traffic flow prediction and display system

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The key factor affecting the performance of flow management strategies is the accuracy about the prediction of airport demand and capacity. In this study, an attempt is made to develop and on-line operation system for displaying the estimated arrivals and departures in selected airports and the associated airport capacities during next two hours. Specifically, the system will make it possible to screen, correct, and analyze the resulting data.
