Abstract
The frequency dependence of the dielectric loss in two ordered phases of slightly reduced rutile has been determined at low temperatures. The results were analyzed in terms of the Debye equation for dielectrics with a distribution of relaxation times and with thermally activated dipoles. Hopping process of charge carriers between two ion sites in these phases is proposed.
