Abstract

The dynamic behavior of the first-order diffraction efficiency of gratings formed in polymer-dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) films was investigated. The films were prepared using various mixing ratios and doped with a guest-host dye. The light scattering experiment showed the existence of several peaks in the first-order diffraction efficiency-time curve.
