Effect of Li doping on high color purity CaTiO3: Eu red phosphor for solid-state lighting

Abstract

In this study, Li+ was co-doped in CaTiO3:Eu 3+ to study its effect on photoluminescence and color purity. This incorporation of Li+ ion into the CaTiO3:Eu3+ system could not only increase the photoluminescence intensity of 1.6 times but also enhance the color purity to 92.1%.
