Abstract

We propose a 3.2-f.!m-long taper with width varying from 0.5 f.!m to 2 f.!m and a 64-f.!m-long taper with width varying from 0.5 f.!m to 12 f.!m, achieving transmissions of99.7% and 99.6%, respectively.
