Elderly using innovative gesture design of satisfaction performance

Abstract

Due to the improvement in medical facilities and care, the elderly have had an increasingly longer life span. At present, many scientific researchers and experts want to probe into the adaptability of the elderly and other relevant issues. With the advancement of medical technology, many countries have paid more attention to the issues about the health of the elderly and expressed the demand for long-term care, so as to establish a complete long-term care service system. This study aims to find out elderly people’s demand for long-term care in the future society featuring rapid development and get acquainted with the governance and development trend of the long-term care system. There are a wide range of high-tech products in our daily life, such as cell phones, tablets and personal computers, and they have been very familiar to the public. The multiple use of the cloud service has accelerated the development of smart mobile devices and enabled mobile service suppliers to create new services to meet the needs of the users. The previous studies have shown us the factors which influence the touch gesture of the elderly, and these factors have been taken as the basis of the design of an operating gesture model which satisfies the use need of the elderly. It is believed that the model will greatly benefit the group of people. Moreover, it will give a new direction for the development of various touch mobile devices in the future. According to the findings of this study, the middle-aged and the elderly should use a new design model where the one-finger operating gesture is taken as the basic prototype of the operating system of smart phones. These findings will facilitate the further research on the development of the touch screen user interface.
