Exchange anisotropy in the PtMn/NiFe (110) quad-crystal films

Abstract

The exchange anisotropy in the PtMn/NiFe (110) quad-crystal films was discussed. The samples were prepared by a molecular beam epitaxy system with base pressure of about 5 × 10-10 torr. The results indicated that the origin of the magnetic anisotropy of coercive force and exchange field was different.
