Abstract

This paper presents experimental wave-sediment interaction data obtained in a 17.1 m long wave tank facility. Pore water pressures as well as total stresses were measured to determine the effective stress response of a medium grained sand subjected to wave heights up tc 0.28 m. The results were compared with the theory presented by Yamaraoto at the 1978 OTC.
