Abstract

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is a powder-based additive manufacturing capable to produce parts layer by layer from a 3D CAD model. Currently there is a growing interest in industry for applying this technology for generating objects with high geometrical complexity. The aim of this study is to adopt the selective laser sintering techniques for soft magnetic powder sintering. When soft magnetic powder is sintered by the selective laser sintering techniques instead of compaction, we expect that the porosity of soft magnetic compound will be improved. Replace part of the soft magnetic silicon steel in the application of the motor of the magnetic.[1]Also part of the selective laser sintering method (SLS) the soft magnetic powder surface coating insulating layer.
