Fabrication of copper chloride hydroxide nanoflowers from Au-Cu hollow nanospheres using a solution-phase methodology

Abstract

Flower-like nanostructures of botallackite Cu2Cl(OH)3 have been synthesized in the solution with the aid of Au-Cu hollow nanospheres. Formation of botallackite Cu2Cl(OH)3 nanoflowers was strongly associated with the presence of Au-Cu hollow nanospheres. The morphologies and composition of nanoflowers have been characterized by XRD,TEM and SEM.
