Abstract

A novel magnetic luminescent nanocomposite has been fabricated by the adsorption of CdII ions on the sulfonated Fe3O4 nanoparticles and the subsequent precipitation with sodium sulfide. The adsorption isotherm of CdII ions on the sulfonated Fe 3O4 nanoparticles was investigated, and the product was characterized by TEM, HRTEM, EDX, XRD, UV-vis, and PL.
