Abstract

A study was performed to demonstrate that magnetization measurement is a fast, sensitive, and nondestructive way to determine the average size and amount of iron nanoparticles in HiPco NTs. Furthermore, it was found that Ms for the iron nanoparticles with ∼3 nm mean size in HiPco NTs is about half of that bulk iron.
