Abstract
Elimination of temporal redundancy of the image processing was experimentally implemented by motion compensation technique. Fast-serach algorithm (FSA) along with fuzzy reasoning was used to determine the motion vectors of image blocks with high accuracy. To reduce the implementation complexity and to prompt the prediction speed, the fuzzy reasoning procedure is implemented with the table-lookup approach. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm works better than other search algorithms in term of seven different measures.
