abstract = "Scientifically sound water quality management measures on water supply reservoirs rely on extensive information of pollution sources, water quality status and pollution control/water quality improvement techniques for specific problems associated with drinking water treatment and eutrophication process. From 2017 to 2020, we participated a series of strategic management projects funded by Taiwan's Environmental Protection Administration for decision support of the National Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Program on Water Environment. This paper briefly introduces the scientific approaches used and novel tools developed in these projects.",
