Abstract

Experiments to study the detection of flaws in laminated panels have continued. The effects of target stiffness, flaw depth and flaw thickness are discussed. Some results from a series of tests in which the loading is applied at locations other than directly onto the transducer are also presented. In addition, some results of a finite element analysis of the problem are also presented.
