Fuzzy predictive control for the time-delay system

Abstract

In this paper, an alternative procedure for constructing a fuzzy model of the given system is proposed associated with a digital fuzzy filter. Based on the structure of the Smith predictor, a hybrid model predictive control approach is also presented. An experimental result has also been illustrated. It shows that the proposed control structure is a feasible approach to control a system with time-delay.
