Fuzzy shooting control of car-like soccer robot

Abstract

This paper is devoted to design and implement a fuzzy shooting controller for a soccer robot system. The control object is that the host computer sends command to soccer robot through wireless modem. In the same time, the microcomputer mounted on the soccer robot will execute the instructions from the host computer. Three different fuzzy shooting actions are proposed, inclusive of direct shooting control, reference path shooting control, and obstacle avoidance shooting control. Finally, both simulations and the practical experiments demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the investigated schemes.
