本發明係關於一種複合物，該複合物包含一半乳糖凝集素-1、以及與該半乳糖凝集素-1鍵結之一金粒子。該複合物得用以促進細胞凋亡、降低細胞激素含量、減緩發炎反應及治療關節炎。
