Abstract

This paper will report the application of Pressure-Sensitive Paint (PSP) and IR camera to a small linear asymmetric nozzle mounted in the UNSW Canberra supersonic nozzle force-measurement rig. The project aims to validate numerical results through PSP measurements. The experimental setup, calibration and data reduction techniques will be described. A number of example data sets will be reported and discussed via comparison with CFD simulations.
