Abstract

Peritoneal endometriosis occurring as massive bloody ascites is very rare. We report an additional case and the differential diagnosis. Discussions are based on the possible etiologic mechanisms of the disease and the changing concepts of treatment strategy. (J GYNECOL SURG 8:43, 1992).
