Abstract
Single crystalline samples of CeSb and CeBi have been investigated calorimetrically and resistively under hydrostatic pressures up to 18 kbar. The T-P diagrams for the phases detectable by our techniques have been constructed and a sharp resistivity-peak observed in CeSb under pressure immediately prior to the antiferromagnetic ordering. The general occurrence of some phase transitions and the magnetic properties of the compounds are discussed.
