High Stable External compensated method for AMOLED

Abstract

This work proposes a novel external compensated driving method for AMOLED displays, while the pixel circuit is only 2T1C. The proposed method can stably compensate for the threshold voltage shift of the diving TFT and OLED degradation in pixels. Measurement results shown the current degradation of the proposed driving scheme for the 2T1C pixel circuit is less than 5% for 36hr at 100°C.
