Abstract
In this paper we propose an H∞ robust guidance law for homing missiles with maneuvering targets. The nonlinear H∞ suboptimal control design governed by the Hamilton-Jacobi PDE inequality associated with this guidance problem is solved analytically. Based on the existing nonlinear H∞ techniques, we synthesize an H∞ guidance law which can pursue a class of maneuvering targets with acceptable energy consumption and miss distance.
