Abstract
The two dimensional images of pressure-driven instabilities were measured in high-beta spherical tokamak (ST) formed by their axial merging at TS-4 device. A blight line parallel to the magnetic field lines was identified for the first time when the edge magnetic surface was destabilized in s-alpha diagram for ballooning modes.
