Abstract

A study was conducted to examine how calcium influences the increasing superplastic-like strain rate of AlAl3Ni eutectic alloy. The experimental data demonstrate that Ca-added alloys can be extended. The stress-strain curves and the relation between n and strain indicated that alloying of calcium improves the plastic stability during superplastic-like deformation.
