Intelligent assembly of cosmetic in the flexible production

Abstract

The need of the cosmetic market has increased annually, and automation technology has also been extensively studied. Thus, cosmetic producers raised the requirement for automation equipment. This study was based on the related study and analysis on the existed products to develop the innovation producing sequential process in assembly. In this study, the electrical control system and the platform structure design were applied to the traditional station production process to reach the goal of automated production. By adjusting the numbers of automated gluing head and various types of jigs in the design of carriers, it can be replaced according to the need of the design to reach advantage in diversified flexible production. Meanwhile, man-machine interface and safety interlock system with linkage arrangement enabled operating convenience and enhanced operating safety.
