Abstract

The method of Integral Relations, henceforth called MIR, was originally developed by Dorodnitsyn for laminar boundary layer flows. One important advantage of the orthonormal MIR is that the order of approximation can be must higher than that practically allowed by the original MIR. This paper presents an efficient iterative scheme incorporating the orthonormal MIR for wake flow problems. We believe that the present study fills an important void in the application of MIR. Refs.
