Abstract

This paper adopts an algorithm of Kalman filter for capacitive touch panel, which can achieve the goals of tracking multi-touch points smoothly. The Kalman filter, implemented in the touch panel system, can successfully eliminate the noise and smooth the tracks of touch points in time. The experimental result demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm for multi-touch systems.
