Abstract

In the ships structural design process, needs to inquire and the computation hull related data, if can therefore because of knowledge the project method to construct , besides assists the user to raise the hull design working efficiency and the quality, but may also penetrate the design process unceasing accumulation knowledge, will further utilize will be new in the future the ship the research and development manufacture, not only may reduce the design time, and will save the factory expense to improve the shipyard outside the production potency, may promote ships' performance, will promote ships' security. This research's goal is the knowledge engineering correlation technique application in the ships structural design, by designs the knowledge-base and rule deduction system's linking, unifies mutually the Tribon in ships structural design information and the knowledge engineering system. Establishes ships' structural design knowledge base by the knowledge engineering method, establishes a set to have elastic, the extendibility and the operational ships structural design information deduction mechanism, and establishes the knowledge engineering system's user interface, the knowledge library and the deduction engine separately. Receives the Tribon system's ships structural design information in this knowledge engineering system, and carries on the management and the establishment in view of the ships rules and regulations. The conformity design information in view of the classification of vessels laws' and regulations' stipulation direct design, avoids designing in the process to have conflict and the mistake between component's, reduces redundant design and the redundant modeling step, assists the user when carries on the ships structural design to be able to raise the working efficiency and the product quality.
