Abstract

The spin reorientation phase transition at TSR = 9.5 K in GdFe3(BO3)4 is studied through dielectric and magnetic measurements under external magnetic fields of up to 2.5 Tesla. The dielectric constant indicates the existence of two distinct anomalies at T SR that separate in temperature under external magnetic fields.
