Abstract
The ac magnetic susceptibility of CrBe12 has been measured between 1.2 and 300 K under hydrostatic pressure up to 19 kbar. In addition to the ferromagnetic transition previously reported, a second transition was also detected under pressure. Both transition temperatures were found to be suppressed by pressure. The results are discussed and contrasted with theoretical predictions and the phase diagrams of some Cr-rich alloys.
