Abstract

The magnetohydrodynamic-activity-induced toroidal momentum dissipation in collisionless regimes in tokamaks was reported in the article. It was found that in the presence of magnetohydrodynamic activities, the toroidal symmetry in tokamaks is broken. The theory was applied to determine the toroidal flow speed in the presence of these modes.
