Abstract

Active measurements of spectrum of the rotation stabilized resistive-wall mode (RWM) was carried out. The perturbed radial magnetic field at the wall which yields resonant field amplification (RFA) amplitude was defined. Maximum amplification was observed when the externally applied field rotates with a frequency of a fraction of the inverse wall time in the direction of the toroidal plasma rotation. The structure of the plasma response was found to be independent of the applied frequency and typical for an RWM.
