Abstract

This paper presents an approach for the structural synthesis of acceptable contracted graphs for basic kinematic chains with multiple joints. Based on the definition of the contracted graph for kinematic chains with multiple joints and graph transformation of multiple joints, we propose a method for the structural synthesis of contracted graphs for kinematic chains with multiple joints and L independent loops from available catalog of contracted graphs for kinematic chains with simple joints and L independent loops. Catalogs of acceptable contracted graphs for basic kinematic chains with multiple joints are listed.
