Abstract

Micro-banks with an integrated rib-mask and insulating micro-banks on glass substrate are fabricated for passive matrix polymeric light-emitting diodes (PM-PLED) displays. The polymeric electroluminescent materials can be deposited with the micro-banks easily by spin-coating and ink-jet printing technologies. Meanwhile, the cathode lines can also be defined by the rib-mask without shadow mask during cathode deposition.
