Model conversion of 2-D continuous-discrete linear systems

Abstract

This paper proposes a method for finding the two-dimensional (2-D) discrete-time state-space model, the first Fornasini-Marchesini's model (F-MMI), from the 2-D continuous-discrete system and obtaining the 2-D continuous-discrete model from the first F-MMI model. The above method allows the use of well-developed theorems and algorithm in the 2-D discrete-time (F-MMI) domain to indirectly carry out analysis and design of hybrid 2-D composite systems.
