Modelling and decomposition of the ace of a control area for control performance evaluation

Abstract

This paper describes a computer application for determining the parameters of a dynamic model of ACE of a control area, for computing it's oneminute average of ACE, for decomposing the control area's regulation burden to components identifiable with load fluctuations within specified load zones, and for portraying the dynamic performance of the control area against the CPS1 and CPS2 performance standards.
