N2 - Natural convection heat transfer in the annuli between two horizontal cylinders have been investigated by means of body-fitted curvilinear coordinate system. We solve the problem through the vorticity-stream function approach and discretize all the equations by the successive over-relaxation (SOR) method. Our results are displayed in terms of streamlines, isothermal contours, radial temperature distribution and equivalent thermal conductivities. Part of the results are compared with the previous experimental and numerical results and the agreement is satisfactory. The results show that the more the azimuthal angle of the inner eccentric cylinder the greater the heat transfer rate.
