Abstract

Two partition algorithms for large peer groups in the private network-network interface (PNNI) hierarchy were proposed to support peer group reconfiguration and maintain optimal network structures. The principle of partition algorithm was based on the congregation of mobile switches. Results showed that it was beneficial to partition a large peer group using partition algorithms.
