Abstract

In this paper, miniaturized hairpin resonators are completely studied. Two design equations for odd-mode and even-mode resonance are derived from a new network model. The size and spurious response of this type of resonators are then minimized and controlled based on these two equations. Finally, a cross-coupled filter is designed by using these resonators to demonstrate one of the applications.
