Abstract
This work presents a new pixel circuit with a structure of four low-temperature polycrystalline-silicon (LTPS) thin-film transistors (TFTs) and one capacitor for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) displays. The proposed pixel circuit is capable of compensation for threshold voltage (VTH) variations of driving TFT with only one scan signal in one step. Furthermore, the OLED is reverse-biased in programming step to avoid flicker phenomenon. The simulation results show that the current deviations caused by VTH variations of TFTs are below 5%.
