Nonlocal BRS counterterms in a physical gauge

Abstract

The general three-gluon vertex Γμνρ{variant}abc(p, q, r) is calculated to one-loop order in the physical light-cone gauge nσAσ = 0, n2 = 0. It is shown that a modified BRS ansatz for the counterterms satisfies not only the gluon self-energy Πμνab(p), but also the local and nonlocal terms in Γμνρ{variant}abc(p, q, r). It is found that the number of local counterterms is finite.
