Abstract
In this paper, a multiuser CDMA detector scheme, `Error Control Decision Feedback' (ECDF) receiver with immunity against decision error propagation, is introduced. It integrates a successive canceller with linear block coding (the extended Hamming code). The ECDF receiver uses a switching successive cancellation feedback branch which can be cut-off if bit errors occur to prevent decision error propagation. The simulation results show that it exhibits a significant improvement in terms of near-far resistance and BER over many reported schemes.
