Abstract
A novel negative immittance simulator, using single current-feedback amplifier (CFA) and four passive elements, has been presented. It can be used to simulate the parallel connections of (-L)(-G)(-C) or (-G)(-C)(-D) immittance, by suitable selection of the admittances of components. All the immittance values of the simulated components can be orthogonally adjusted, without the need of any matching conditions between passive components. Furthermore, an effective compensation approach is addressed when the non-ideal CFA is considered. Some practical applications are given and HSPICE simulation results demonstrate the feasibility of proposed scheme.
