Abstract
A novel multi-random PWM technique (MRPWM) for voltage-controlled inverter is proposed in this paper. The multi-random PWM strategy employs the pulse position and starting time random processes. The proposed multi-random PWM scheme shows that both low-order and high-order harmonic are well suppressed compared with the conventional single random PWM scheme (SRPWM). The experimental results are presented to verify the performance of the proposed MRPWM scheme.
