Novel pixel circuit for AMOLED with compensating threshold voltage variation of poly-Si TFTs

Abstract

A novel pixel circuit for active matrix organic light emitting diode, based on low temperature polycrystalline silicon thin-film transistors is proposed. It consists of four thin-film transistors and one capacitor and the simulation result shows that the proposed circuit can successfully compensate the variation of the threshold voltage and non-uniform of OLED current variation is lower than 5%.
