Optical switching in benzocyclobutene microring lattice

Abstract

We demonstrate optical switching in a polymer lattice consisting of more than 100 benzocyclobutene (BCB) microrings. The nonlinear refractive index n2 of BCB is estimated about-6×10-15 cm2/W.
